About The Role

You will divide your time between Growth (helping to acquire new business or expanding our knowledge and capability in farming through research) and Operations (managing our relationships with farmers and making sure critical operations are running smoothly).

As a fluent Bahasa Indonesia speaker, you will be pivotal in representing the Alune brand to our partners and new clients.

You will be in charge of developing partnerships with companies in Indonesia and internationally. Taking charge of key partnerships, you will improve our position with them to benefit our farmer partners, ultimately providing value to every partner in our ecosystem.

You will develop and own the companies postharvest supply chain strategy, connecting Alune and our partners to the export market.

As a capable communicator, the team will look to you for advice and support as they push through deals at all levels of the company.

This role is full of variety - here are a few things you could be working on:

1.       Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management

2.       Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits

3.       Research partners, identify key players and generate interest

4.       Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships

5.       Helping to develop a long-term strategy for Alune and bring unique insights to accelerate growth

6.       Develop and lead our post-harvest strategy

7.       Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with Alune’s contract guidelines and policies

8.       Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brand and be our partners’ liaison internally

9.       Talking to prospective farmers and suppliers, to understand how their business works and explain how Alune can benefit them

10.   Forecast, measure and report the results of various projects with partners

Requirements:

Essential

1.       Previous working experience as Sales and Partnerships Manager for min. 1 year (Aquaculture is a bonus!)

2.       Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

3.       Excellent organizational and time management skills

4.       Self-starter who thrives under pressure and enjoys a variation

5.       Strategic thinker

6.       Networking aptitude

7.       Great multitasking skills

8.       Attention to details

9.       You’re ambitious and want to help build something impactful

10.   Fluency in English - speaking and writing.

11.   Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.

12.   Comfortable driving in Indonesia. Hold a valid driving licence (SIM C/A).

Desirable

1.       You have knowledge or work experience in aquaculture (Shrimp is a bonus)

2.       You have experience running a business or managing a team

Important
Location & Travel

Our team works remotely, with our core operations in Yogyakarta
You must be living in Indonesia. The role may require relocation around Indonesia.
The role will require to travel up to 3 days a week. Travel expenses paid in full by Alune.
Salary offers are decided based on location, experience and skills.
Equity and bonus structures are on offer for the right candidate.
