About The Role

You will divide your time between generating new partnerships for Alune in the supply chain, (delivering valuable insights, products and financial benefits to our farmer clients) and developing our value chain strategy, which includes upstream and downstream partnership and investments. Ultimately, you will be integral in creating an ecosystem around Alune which benefits our farmer clients in their success and growth.

As a fluent Bahasa Indonesia speaker, you will be pivotal in representing the Alune brand to our partners and new clients.

As a capable communicator, the team will look to you for advice and support as they push through deals at all levels of the company.

This role is full of variety - here are a few things you could be working on:

1.       Starting and developing relationships with all stakeholders in the value chain

2.       Develop and lead our post-harvest strategy

3.       Work closely with feed and technology companies to create significant mutual value

4.       Develop appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize the smooth process of shrimp farming at the lowest possible cost, both upstream and downstream.

5.       Be an example of professional, family-centric business thinking

6.       Develop and lead a team that delivers on our supply chain goals, nationally and internationally

7.       Deliver and direct KPIs that lead to step-change innovation and growth

8.       Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of shrimp farming process demand

9.       Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits

10.   Research partners, identify key players and generate interest in Alune’s vision

Requirements:

Essential

1.       Previous working experience in Supply Chain for min. 1 year (Aquaculture is a bonus!)

2.       Hands-on experience with upstream-downstream supply chain process

3.       Outstanding negotiation skill

4.       Impressive communication and interpersonal skills

5.       Excellent organizational and time management skills

6.       Self-starter who thrives under pressure and enjoys a variation

7.       Strategic thinker

8.       Networking aptitude

9.       Great multitasking skills

10.   Attention to details

11.   You’re ambitious and want to help build something impactful

12.   Fluency in English - speaking and writing. (a must)

13.   Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.

14.   Comfortable driving in Indonesia. Hold a valid driving licence (SIM C/A).

Desirable

1.       You have knowledge or work experience in aquaculture (Shrimp is a bonus)

2.       Public speaking track record

3.       You have experience running a business or managing a team

Important

Location & Travel

1.       Our team works remotely, with our core operations in Jakarta, Yogyakarta and Singapore.

2.       You must be living in Indonesia.

3.       Travel expenses paid in full by Alune.

4.       Salary offers are decided based on location, experience and skills.
