Canadian Seafood Show is proud to offer you an eco-responsible show. We all know that plastic bottles end their lives in the oceans, kill marine life and contaminate the seabed. That is why, as of today, we are committed to ensuring that no plastic bottles are sold or handed-out on the exhibition grounds. Badges, which identify participants, will not be inserted in plastic holders, they will be made of lightweight cardboard. Moreover, to limit our ecological footprint, no badges will be mailed, they will be available from 7:30 am on 25 September.

We have decided not to print an exhibition handout which is discarded at the end of the 2 days of exhibition. Instead, you will have access to an application that can be downloaded to your smartphone that will allow you to access the floor plan to meet exhibitors. Cardboard panels will also be available at several locations in the room to help you find your way around.

The materials used for the booths will mainly be recyclable, so the carpets will not be thrown away after the 2 days of exhibition; they will be reused after the trade show. Our event will be simple, welcoming and most importantly ecologically friendly. Our main objective is to throw away as little as possible. With this in mind, we have signed partnerships with various charities to ensure that the remains of the products on display do not end up in the trash. At the end of the show, on September 25 and 26, the managers of these associations will come to collect your products in order to share them with their beneficiaries. They will have the opportunity to enjoy seafood products that they are not necessarily used to eating.
