Our respected client is seeking a highly competent Aquaculture professional for the job of Head of Construction & Engineering of Aquaculture. The job is based in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Job summary

The Head of Construction & Engineering of Aquaculture will be expected to manage onsite the construction of modern shrimp farms. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate leader with demonstrated ability to supervise and control all elements related to the construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

1.       Participate in the initial planning and preparation of the construction work including cost estimates, budget, design and work timetable

2.       Estimate, control, and report on the costs for construction projects from the early design plans through to completion

3.       Manage and track the progress of the construction work to ensure that the job is completed on time and on budget

4.       Supervise and coordinate with all the relevant parties to ensure smooth construction progress

5.       Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly

6.       Make sure that projects meet legal and quality standards

7.       Monitor the acquisition and legal status of land for the project

Key job requirements include:

1.       Experience in construction projects for aquaculture farms/industry is highly desirable

2.       Must be able to implement technology and IOT in construction of aquaculture farms

3.       Driven, dynamic, positive and have a sense of urgency

4.       Attention to detail is absolutely paramount…you will be eagle-eyed, fastidious and committed to numerical and factual accuracy

5.       Comprehensive understanding of and extensive experience with a full budgeting process

6.       Excel spreadsheets come naturally to you
