Lowongan Kerja Perikanan di Cargill untuk Posisi Strategic Marketing Manager - Aquaculture Nutrition, Malaysia & Indonesia at Cargill


The Strategic Marketing Manager is accountable for leading the development and implementation of Cargill Aqua Nutrition (“CQN”) Malaysia and Indonesia (“MYID”) cluster’s business strategy and strategic marketing plan based on customer segmentation, with customer intimacy as key value proposition. The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for leading/developing the strategic marketing staff and is a member of the CQN MYID business leadership team.

The role requires the leader to be passionate about Aqua nutrition business, be agile to capture opportunities in fast-changing environment, be comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity, have the ability to move between strategy and tactical execution, and have a proven track record influencing business performance, marketing and strategy areas.

 

30% Business Strategy and Strategic Marketing

1.       Together with the Managing Director, develop and implement strategic marketing plans for customer opportunities identified in the strategy work and drive the business strategy development focusing on where to play, how to win, M&A and capabilities to meet business growth targets in line with CAN and CQN global strategy, and partner with leadership team to ensure strategic priority and change are successfully embraced and executed

2.       Accountable for developing and implementing country go-to-market plan that includes species/product portfolio strategy and innovation (new product service solution) pipeline from global and local capabilities

3.       Partner with Sales team to lead customer segmentation and incorporation into daily business activities, identify customer unmet needs and develop offerings to increase customer intimacy

4.       Lead key strategic initiatives for CQN MYID

 

25% Product Management and New Product, Service & Solution (“NPSS”)

1.       Responsible for CQN MYID product portfolio (SKUs, value proposition, pricing strategy) to increase profitability and business results

2.       Own the NPSS (product and service innovation) development process and pipeline with strong collaboration with Commercial, Operations, and Technology teams

3.       Accountable for key NPSS project deliverables, launching plan (7Ps) and its financial results

4.       Monitor, track and improve the NPSS process for efficiency, clarity, accountability and speed to market

 

25% Tactical Marketing

1.       Lead the tactical marketing plans for the business with respect to developing the offering defined in strategic marketing plans (7P) while closely partnering with technology teams as well as commercial teams across the region to deliver the financial results.

2.       Develop tactical marketing capabilities and manage marketing budget & spending efficiency

3.       Lead and oversee the team developing the right communication tools to drive the marketing strategy (Video, digital, trade show, press etc.) and manage the budget

 

10% Talent and Capabilities

1.       Develop marketing capabilities along with identifying skills required to serve the target customer segments. Be actively engaged in the recruiting, hiring, coaching, supervising, and developing of marketing staff for the animal nutrition business

2.       Lead the team resource and budget

3.       Provide clarity on roles & responsibilities and vision for the individual and team development

 

10% Collaboration

1.       Partner with other marketing leaders and technology leaders across Animal Nutrition & Health (Strategic Marketing Managers, global SMT teams), and within Cargill.  Build relationships, establishing a proven track record in serving the business, drafting best practices, gaining insight on new opportunities, and providing the “voice of the customer”

2.       Partner with multi-function for system and process enhancement such as pricing. Build market intelligent system for industry, customer and competitor info, collaborating with sales team and develop perspective in market trend changes

 

Qualifications

Essential Functions / Requirements

1.       Committed to within country and regional business travel of 20-30% of time

2.       Strong business acumen

3.       Must have sense of urgency and entrepreneurial proven track records

4.       Proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and lead change

5.       Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization

6.       Ability to work in cross-cultural environment

7.       Highly organized, self-starter able to set and follow priorities and manage multiple projects

8.       Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Eductions, Experiences and Skills (Minimum requirements)

1.       Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural or business discipline or equivalent experience in business.

2.       Min 8 to 10 years of working experience. 3+ years strategic/tactical marketing experience, developing a go to market strategy, leveraging customer insight

3.       Experience in developing and growing a business

4.       Experience and proven success in strategic marketing expertise, along with leading strategic projects to impact the business financial results

5.       Experience in fiduciary responsibility, including budgets, expenses, or pricing

6.       Ability to communicate well in English (written, verbal)
